Bishop James G. Rodges, is a vibrant, bold, energetic and captivating minister of the 21st century. He is the Pastor of Jonesville Baptist Church of the PAW. His ministry has blessed others as he travels nationally and internationally. His broadcast ministry, Jonesville-Rhema ministries, is aired weekly in Savannah, Georgia.
Driven by a genuine love for people, Pastor Rodges has blended Jonesville into a multicultural experience. Since becoming pastor of Jonesville in 1988, the membership has grown at such a rapid rate that a new building had to be erected in 2000. Also, an expansion project called Phase 2 was completed in 2004. Through faithful devotion and God’s grace, a Mortgage Burning Ceremony was held in December 2019 for the properties on Montgomery Street.
Along with pastoring Jonesville Baptist Church in Savannah, Bishop Rodges serves as Senior Leader of Full Gospel Apostolic Church (Indianola, Mississippi), and now Diocesan Bishop of the Mountain States District Council.
Pastor Rodges has obtained a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Mississippi Valley State University and most recently a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary.
Bishop Rodges and his wife, Phyllis Frazier Rodges, have been married for more than 35 years. They have four children: Jordan Megan, James Gregory, Joshua Peterson, and Johanna Caitlyn.
