Bishop Rodges is a vibrant, bold, energetic and captivating minister of the 21st century. He is the Pastor of Jonesville Baptist Church of the PAW. His ministry has blessed others as he travels nationally and internationally. His broadcast ministry, Jonesville-Rhema ministries, is aired weekly in Savannah, Georgia.
Driven by a genuine love for people, Pastor Rodges has blended Jonesville into a multicultural experience. Since becoming pastor of Jonesville in 1988, the membership has grown at such a rapid rate that a new building had to be erected in 2000. Also, an expansion project called Phase 2 was completed in 2004. Through faithful devotion and God’s grace, a Mortgage Burning Ceremony was held in December 2019 for the properties on Montgomery Street.
Along with pastoring Jonesville Baptist Church in Savannah, Bishop Rodges serves as Senior Leader of Full Gospel Apostolic Church (Indianola, Mississippi), and newly appointed Diocesan Bishop of the Mountain States District Council (February 2023).
Pastor Rodges has obtained a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Mississippi Valley State University and most recently a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary.
Bishop Rodges and his wife, Phyllis Frazier Rodges, have been married for more than 35 years. They have four children: Jordan Megan, James Gregory, Joshua Peterson, and Johanna Caitlyn.

Executive Pastor
A woman of classic distinction and un-paralleled passion, she is the wife of Pastor James G. Rodges, the first lady of Jonesville Baptist Church and the mother of four children (Jordan, James II, Joshua and Johanna).
Notwithstanding, her business acumen has made her a blessing to the body of Christ. During her tenure at JBC she has been instrumental in property acquisitions, serving as Project Manager for three multimillion-dollar construction projects. Additionally, as Executive Pastor, she administrates several JBC ministries, an office staff and countless volunteers. Driven by a desire to enlighten, enhance and empower women, she founded Women of Destiny, a ministry that deals with the holistic development of women; she hosts church services, seminars, and events focused on women's empowerment.
Dr. Rodges is also, founder and Executive Director of The Transformation Project, an independent, non-profit corporation, committed to helping all people, from all walks of life, as well as founder with her husband of M.J. Rodges Academy, a day school tailored for excellence in education. She holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership with a concentration in Consulting, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.
